It was in March of 2021 when I arrived at the doorsteps of St.
James Parish and it has been an honor and a privilege to have served here since as pastor. The parish which includes Gouverneur and the surrounding area has two worship sites, one in Gouverneur and the other in Edwards. It also is proud to have one of the few catholic schools remaining in the Diocese of Ogdensburg serving students Pre-K through Grade 6.
The Apostle James was one of the first to accept the call and follow Jesus and over the years many here in our parish have continued to follow the example of their patron by faithfully following the Lord with their faithful and loving service. We have many dedicated families who make up our parish but we need to continue to grow and flourish. As we look to the future, I invite you to join us on our journey as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ who gives our lives both meaning and hope.
